Things To Do In Boston: The Freedom Trail

The Freedom Trail is a must do when traveling to Boston, Massachusetts. Given the size of Boston, you can take a walking historical tour of the city, that will take you back in time to visit some notable historical landmarks from the Revolutionary War.
If you would like to take in the city at your own pace, I recommend that you do a self guided walking tour of the Freedom Trail. The city of Boston has been kind enough to create a 2.5 mile red brick trail that takes you to each of the 16 historical sites.
If you want to know the ins and outs of the history behind the landmarks on the tour, I suggest you purchase a ticket for a guided tour. Tickets are very inexpensive (currently $10.80), and considering it’s almost a three hour tour, you can’t beat that sort of value.
